His immense understanding of the human nervous system, the intricacies of the spine, as we as his full understanding of the body’s anatomy and function puts him among the elite chiropractors in Liberty Hill, as well as Austin Texas.
While Dr. Walt Scott and his family recently relocated to Liberty Hill from Washington state, he feels right at home, and is on a mission to serve his community by addressing pain, discomfort, postural issues, and mobility limitations through an advanced and highly effective approach to chiropractic care. Dr. Walt Scott is excited to get down to business, and help his patients live a much better quality of life – on which is free of pain and discomfort.

My name is Cami Rubio, and I am grateful to serve as a Chiropractic Assistant here at Cornerstone Chiropractic Center in Liberty Hill. I’m 25 years old and have been married to my husband for a little over a year. We recently moved to Liberty Hill to be closer to family after walking through a difficult pregnancy and losing our twin girls. This community has already been such a blessing to us, and I feel so thankful to have found a home at Cornerstone.
I have a background of four years working at a health and wellness center in Bee Cave, where I developed a deep passion for healing our God-given bodies from within through natural, drug-free approaches. My heart is to help every patient who walks through our doors feel loved, valued, and empowered in their health journey.
Outside of the office, I love spending time on the lake water skiing and wake surfing, reading, going on walks, and playing card games with my husband, family, and friends. My favorite foods are tacos of any kind. I also love visiting my family in Minnesota.
Most importantly, my faith is the foundation of my life. I am actively involved in my church community at Selah Hills Church in Georgetown, and I strive to reflect Christ’s love in everything I do.
I look forward to serving our patients here at Cornerstone Chiropractic Center and supporting them in living healthier, stronger, and more joy-filled lives.
Saralynn Bañuelos, CA
Hi! I’m Saralynn! Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, I’m a certified Chiropractic Assistant and Photographer with a deep passion for helping people feel their best—inside and out. I was drawn to chiropractic care for its holistic approach to health and wellness, and I love being part of each person’s journey toward understanding, healing, and thriving in their own body.
Energetic and adventurous by nature, I’m always excited to try new things, explore new places, and challenge myself—(fun fact: the first time I ever got on a plane, I jumped out of it!). Whether I’m working with patients in the clinic or capturing life through my camera lens, my mission is the same: to help people feel confident, inspired, and authentically themselves.
How It All Started
Dr. Walter Scott grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. Gig Harbor is a charming former fishing village turned tourist destination located in the Pacific Northwest – the “PNW” as they say. After a number of years as a tennis instructor and getting familiar with sports injuries, Dr. Scott found his inspiration and began a new path pursuing chiropractic. He was mentored by one of his former tennis students, Dr. John Cornell D.C. (who has since passed). After many philosophical conversations with Dr. Cornell about the human body and holistic care, Dr. Scott began to realize and understand the emerging trend in our culture – one where the general public is beginning to ask better questions about their health, and is seeking natural solutions to their health challenges without having to take medication or even worse, undergoing unnecessary surgery. As a chiropractor, Dr. Scott realized he could be that change, and offer holistic and natural solutions to a myriad of health challenges without resorting to harmful drugs and surgery.
Answering the Call
Dr. Walt Scott attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated with Cum Laude distinction in June of 2005. Since then, Dr. Scott has had the opportunity to work at a number of exceptional chiropractic clinics, and learn from some of the best chiropractors.
After owning and operating a thriving practice in Redmond, Washington, Dr. Walt Scott along with his wife Nikki and two boys, Michael 5, and Nathan 3, felt strongly that God had called them to Texas. Following their call, they moved to Liberty Hill in 2023 and are excited to become contributing members of this great, and growing, community. Dr. Scott loves pickleball, dinner events with family and friends, going to church, running, and of course football! Go Panthers!
